Amboy, Illinois - The official coordinates of Amboy are 41°42′52″ North and 89°19′58″ West. Amboy is located in Lee County, IL and is the home to 2,572.
Anaconda, Colorado - One of the smaller mining towns in the Cripple Creek Mining District which was just south of Pike’s Peak. The only remains of the town today is the blacksmith shop.

Ellis Island – Located just off the tip of Manhattan Island, Ellis Island served as the first Federal immigration station. It was active from 1892 till 1924.
Engelwood, Illinois – Englewood, founded in 1868, has been within the city limits since 1893. It is located at 41°44′0″ N and at 87°37′0″ W.
Rhyolite, Nevada – Founded at the same time as Las Vegas in May of 1905, Rhyolite is located at 36°54′N and at -116°49′W. Unfortuntaely, the town disappeared as fast as it grew. In 1908 the estimated resident population was about 3,500, and has been reported that as many as 10,000 were in the town at one time, but fell to 675 according to the 1910 census.

Tonopah, Nevada – Just a little north of Rhyolite, you will find Tonopah at 38°4′9″ North and 117°13′50″ West. In 2000, there are 2,627 residents living in this historic mining town.
